Executive Summary
Seen by many as the mouse to wallop all other mice in a Frag Tournament, the Razer Boomslang 2000 is in a class of its own. However, design issues mar the otherwise technologically advanced mouse.
Funky and uniquely designed
Features
The Boomslang 2000 has 5 customisable mouse buttons whose functions can be determined through the software available. The profile of the Boomslang 2000 is quite low and the mouse ball is located further towards the back as compared to most mice. However, many users may find this uncomfortable.
Performance Overview
"Ouch!" will very much sums up the experience with the Boomslang 2000. It is difficult to get used to the shape and design of the mouse. As such, frag and desktop performance suffered.
Back-ball Heavy
Our Recommendations
Some swear by it, and others swear at it. Our advice? Try it out on actual desktop applications and games before plonking good money on it!
